Yin Yoga is a quiet, healing and meditative practice. In this style of yoga we slowly and gently stretch the connective tissues of the body, over time gaining more flexibility as well as increasing the range of motion and lubrication in the joints. This practice gives us the time and space to go inward and learn to reconnect with the present moment and ourselves.

The Practice of Yoga Nidra is accessible to everyone from children to seniors!  It holds immense benefits, especially for those who struggle to let go or who suffer from insomnia, trauma, adrenal fatigue, burn-out, stress and anxiety. It also holds great healing power for anyone who wants to experience a deeper sense of peace and re-connect more profoundly with themselves.

During Yoga Nidra, which is often translated as “sacred yogic sleep", The body is in a comfortable resting position while your consciousness begins to Traverse through new states of expansion and awareness.

In this training you will learn the principles and philosophy of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, anatomy of the physical and the energetic systems of the body, the postures of Yin Yoga, alignment of the poses and how to properly and comfortably support the body using props. There will also be a detailed portion of the training on combining hands on adjustments during Yin Yoga poses, meditation and sound therapy to create the perfect Yin Yoga and/or Yoga Nidra and sound healing offerings. This is an experiential training for anyone who is already teaching or is looking to learn how to teach Yin Yoga, as well as students who are interested in the body and the healing practice of Yin Yoga, yoga nidra and sound healing.

Throughout this training you will learn how to deepen your own Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra practice and also how to hold space and guide others through this liberating and transformational experience.
